Born and raised in Dorchester, MA. After leaving a career at a Big Four accounting firm, Baptista founded PIONEERS Run Crew in Boston to create a space where running felt accessible and community-driven. In 2020, he launched PYNRS with the mission to merge running and streetwear lifestyle, building a brand that reflects the energy of the culture and the movement of running communities like PIONEERS Run Crew.

Today, PYNRS extends beyond apparel into media, experiences, and the PYNRS Network—a platform designed to reimagine ownership and distribute culture in new ways. Baptista’s vision is to flip the script on a traditional apparel company and prove that communities can have shared ownership in the culture and influence they help create.
