2026 NATIONAL BLACK FOOTWEAR FORUM • SEPTEMBER 10–13, 2026 • DETROIT, MI
CommUNITY, is both a mindset and a mandate. It reflects the collective power of Black leaders to shape, build, and move the footwear industry forward together. As culture continues to influence every corner of the industry, this conversation centers the people driving that impact. From students to executives, we are no longer waiting for opportunity, we are creating it, scaling it, and sustaining it through community.
WHAT IS THE NATIONAL FORUM?
Through keynotes and panel discussions, breakout sessions and activations, this free 4-day event gathers hundreds of Black footwear professionals, students, executives, and supporters to foster community and drive the industry towards greater inclusivity and representation reflective of its diverse consumer base. Join us in taking the steps to close the gaps and celebrate the contributions of Black Americans in the footwear industry.
WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?
The forum is open to footwear professionals, designers, students, allies, and supporters who are passionate about promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the industry. Regardless of race, gender, whether you are an established leader or an emerging talent, your participation is highly valued.
