Erika Kemp is a professional long-distance runner based in Providence, RI. A two-time national champion on the roads, last January she had a breakout performance at the 2025 Houston Marathon, finishing second with an eleven-minute PR of 2:22:56. The result put her 12th on the U.S. All-Time list; lowered her record as the fastest American-born Black woman; and earned her a spot on her first World Championship team. She's started off 2026 with another big result at this year's Houston Half Marathon by running a PB of 68:42. While she isn't running, she's testing recipes, a voice of the Relay Podcast, and supporting young runners across the US.
