ERICA JACKSON

ERICA JACKSON

Founder, Too Many Tabs and Limitless
More Details

Erica Jackson is a dynamic leader whose career bridges education, hospitality, and community engagement. A proud Black and Mexican woman from Chicago’s East Side, Erica has built her career on fostering meaningful connections and curating impactful experiences that bring people together.

With eight years of experience in education, Erica served as a mentor, teacher, and school administrator across Tennessee’s Tipton County, Chicago’s Noble Network, and Washington, D.C.’s DC Prep. In 2018, she transitioned into hospitality at The Wing in Georgetown, where she discovered her passion for designing intentional spaces centered on connection and community.

Her professional journey has included influential roles such as Manager of College Programs for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, where she placed Latinx interns on Capitol Hill, and Membership Director at The Gathering Spot, leading the organization’s Washington, D.C. expansion. She also served as Vice President at Meridian Solutions Worldwide, a social impact communications firm committed to equity and social justice.

Post-pandemic, Erica leaned fully into hospitality, bringing her background in academia and community building to Soho House & Co. As Regional Membership Manager for Cities Without Houses North America, she led membership growth, retention, and culturally relevant programming in Montreal, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, DC and Detroit.

Now based in Detroit, Erica is deeply engaged in the city’s thriving arts and culture community. After concluding a four-year tenure with Soho House & Co., she launched Too Many Tabs, an agency that blends left-brain strategy with right-brain creativity. Through this venture, she leads community engagement strategies, hospitality consulting, and culturally resonant programming, while also producing bespoke events rooted in authenticity and intention.

Erica is currently contracted with Design Core supporting Month of Design and the I-75 project, Buffalo Prescott, an artist residency initiative and is project managing a music festival in South Africa.

Lastly, E is working on opening a brick and mortar in Eastern Market with the intention of circulating the Detroit Dollar.

Outside of her professional life, Erica finds joy in nature, creative exploration, and cultivating spaces that remind people of the power of connection.
