
DR. GEORGE JAMES
George James, Psy.D., LMFT, MBA is the CEO of George Talks, a consulting and communication firm at the intersection of leadership, relationships, and mental health. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. George helps audiences give themselves permission to be greater. He works with executives, educators, entrepreneurs, corporations, family foundations and family-owned businesses to navigate the complex realities of leadership, legacy, and life at home. He is especially known for his work helping multigenerational families manage conflict, improve communication, and build healthier dynamics that support both personal and professional growth. Dr. George has been an expert guest on various programs including The TODAY Show, CBS Mornings, CNBC, Nickelodeon, NBC News Now, New York Times, CNN, Good Day LA, Good Day Philadelphia, TEDx, and has spoken to organizations including Ross Stores, Best Buy, ADP, Cummins and others. He hosted a podcast called LEAPCAST for three seasons and was the co-host of Strike out the Stigma with the Philadelphia Phillies for two years.
A licensed therapist, international speaker and executive coach, Dr. George brings a grounded, insightful approach to his work—whether supporting high-performing professionals or guiding families through transitions. He has worked extensively in the corporate and education space, partnering with schools, companies, universities, and organizations to help leaders and communities prioritize mental health, strengthen relationships, and cultivate environments of belonging. Dr. George lives in Philadelphia with his wife and children.
