Stephen Green: Founder of PitchBlack and Angel Investor

Stephen Green: Founder of PitchBlack and Angel Investor

Stephen Green is a "recovering" community banker and VC, based in Portland, Oregon. His career in access to capital has been spent writing checks as a VC and banker to businesses of all sizes. Over a thousand business loans and hundreds of pitch meetings later, he believes that there are few things more exciting than being able to play a small part in helping a founder follow their passion. He got the founder bug as a junior in college where he started his first business to cover the cost of school and has since gone on to start a number of businesses. His 20+ years of running and funding businesses has taught him that the most important capital for a business to succeed is the social kind. When he is not making spreadsheets or reviewing contracts, you can find him cheering at his kids' events and buying too many sneakers.
