Rupert Campbell: President, adidas North America
In his role as President of adidas North America, Rupert oversees all adidas operations in the United States and Canada and is responsible for driving the vision and culture for the team.
Rupert, a British national from Huddersfield, UK has a long and successful track record with adidas. He has vast experience in sports and a compassionate leadership style. As a leader, Rupert has a people-first approach and is convinced that if you look after people, they will look after the business.
Rupert joined adidas in 2012 as Retail Director of Market North. From 2013 to 2015, he served the company as Senior Vice President of Retail in Europe. In 2018, Rupert Campbell was appointed Managing Director of Russia/CIS where he successfully led the business. Under his leadership, adidas increased its market leadership in the region and recorded double-digit sales growth.
Prior to adidas, Rupert spent 17 years in Dixons Electrical and worked his way from trainee to Director of Development. He also spent 3 years in Glasgow as Group CEO of Powerleague from 2015 to 2018.
Rupert is a fan of soccer and played basketball for England. Rupert is also passionate about fashion, art and music and collects sneakers with over 400 pairs in his closet.
